Embracing Our Differences Michigan is developing workshops for educators. Our workshops will offer resources and techniques to educate students about embracing differences, building respect and celebrating the diversity of the human family.

Workshop #1  Embracing Our Differences with CultureVerse 

Attendees:   K-12 teachers and K-12 Art Teachers
Date/Time: April 18, 2024, 4 pm- 6 pm
Location: Morris Lawrence Building Washtenaw Community College

Embracing Our Differences collaborates with CultureVerse on April 18, 2024from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Morris Lawrence Building Washtenaw Community College. This workshop is designed to be a working session.  Attendees can take a previously taught lesson and leverage 3D software to create immersive learning environments that help preserve, amplify, and elevate the students’ work. During the workshop, you will create shareable 3D digital spaces easily and quickly and curate content in 3D spaces to create an engaging virtual classroom environment. Please bring your computer. Attendees will receive their own  CultureVerse link. 

You will receive snacks and SCECH credits for attending.  Attendees will receive their own CulureVerse link. They will also have an opportunity to schedule free field trips to the Embracing Our Differences Embracing Our Differences Gallup Park Gallery

Please join us for Embracing Our Differences Through Untold Stories on April 24, 2024, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Morris Lawrence Building Washtenaw Community College. The workshop will include Lessons to INCORPORATE into your already robust Curriculum and an opportunity to work with others to generate creative lesson ideas.
